The Shengjing unmanned, belt‑type filter press achieves a cake moisture content as low as 60%. Compared with the 70–80% moisture typically found in conventional filter presses, it delivers significantly lower cake moisture and greater sludge volume reduction.

The sludge cake is thin (1.0–1.3 cm) and free of “soft‑center” defects. During discharge, the filter plates open in a single step, and the filter cloth automatically unloads via a traveling mechanism, eliminating the need for manual scraping. Each filter plate is equipped with a filter‑cloth cleaning nozzle at its lower end, enabling multiple online cleanings per day, ensuring stable moisture content and production capacity while extending the service life of the filter cloth.

In the sludge conditioning stage, only a small dose of PAM and ferric salts is required; lime addition is unnecessary, there is no additional sludge production, and sludge discharge is automatic, eliminating the need for gantry‑type cleaning—cleaning occurs in sync.
